Les Généraux

A truly distinctive residence within the château, Les Généraux is a bold and beautifully styled three-bedroom suite, featuring striking black and gold interiors that balance dramatic design with intimate comfort.

The suite opens onto an expansive roof terrace, offering guests the rare pleasure of both a richly layered interior and generous outdoor living. Inside, a stunning original limestone fireplace houses a charming kitchenette, while a café-style full kitchen invites slow breakfasts and relaxed meals accompanied by sweeping views of the gardens.

Each bedroom is individually designed and includes an en-suite shower room. Two bedrooms feature king-size beds that may be configured as twins, while the third offers a queen-size bed which can also be configured as twins. Direct access to the roof terrace provides a private outdoor dining area and grill, ideal for entertaining under the open sky.

Access is via the West Stairwell to the second floor, or via the lift with access through the roof terrace.

Named in honour of ‘The Generals’ from the German 1^st Cavalry Division, who occupied the chateau during World War II under the command of PC General Feldt.  The school continued to be run by the nuns whilst the solders took up part of the building.
