Château de Jalesnes is a Renaissance jewel in the Loire Valley, offering an exquisite blend of historic grandeur and modern comfort. With 17 one-to-three-bedroom suites, 22 acres of manicured gardens, and elegant spaces for ceremonies, events, and holidays, it is more than a venue—it’s an experience.
Explore the salon-library, chapel, banquet hall, and heated pool, or wander through the chestnut grove and formal gardens. Every corner of the château is designed to inspire awe, relax the mind, and create lasting memories.
The Château Space
The Chateau has an impressive array of Suites and Spaces to meet, dine and relax.
As you step inside you appreciate that you are in the presence of grandeur created over the centuries.
Step through the grand doors of Château de Jalesnes and feel time slow around you. The entrance, framed by centuries-old stone walls and classic tiled floors, immediately evokes the château’s Renaissance spirit — a perfect harmony of history and refinement.
To your right, a sweeping staircase leads to the east wing, its sculptured metal balustrade, a testament to the craftsmanship of another era. For ease of access, an elevator also connects the east wing levels of the château and roof terrace. The corridor also opens to our chapel of St Louis.
To the left, doors open into the salon-library and the west wing accommodations.
Ahead, guests are drawn through the banquet hall to access the formal gardens and pool.

Our interconnecting spaces within our grand banquet hall have retractable full-height glazed and oak partitions which can be opened to reveal a stunning gallery for dining, dancing or connecting. Individually these spaces form:
Old Sacristy – A richly panelled room that can serve as a private bar, artist green room, or a serene space for quiet reflection.
Gallery – Perfect for formal dining, lively workshops, or evening entertainment.
Dining Room – An elegant setting for up to sixteen guests, also suited to board meetings or buffet-style gatherings.
Ante Room – A graceful transition between the Entrance Hall and the gardens.
Together, these salons span 32 metres by 5.2 metres, accommodating up to 160 guests in one flowing space that balances grandeur with intimacy.

Our chapel is a jewel of the château — an inspiring performance and ceremony space seating up to 85 guests. Its soaring double-height vaulted ceiling and luminous stained-glass window, crafted by Bordereau of Angers, and painted seasonal frescoes captivate all who enter.
Equipped with dimmable LED lighting and a discreet fresh-air circulation system, the chapel is ideal for wedding ceremonies, concerts, lectures, and product launches. Optional staging, a minstrel gallery, and a crypt below offer versatile configurations to make every occasion truly exceptional.

Our Salon-Library is an inviting open-plan reception space that exudes warmth and sophistication. Rich wood parquet floors, shelves of books, and deep leather sofas create a sense of quiet luxury — perfect for relaxed conversation or intimate gatherings.
This elegant room can serve as a drinks reception, wine-tasting venue, committee meeting space, or even a private film screening room, offering comfort and charm in equal measure.

Relax and enjoy the company of your family and friends.
Swim in the pool, walk in the forest, ride a bike, or just read a book with a glass of wine.
The estate of Jalesnes runs to some 22 acres and includes a forest with beautiful nature walks, picnic lawns with barbeque areas, marquee lawns which are also used for landing helicopters, an orchard and small potager, a petanque court, a table tennis table and a 20 metre heated seasonal pool.
Guests can also benefit from the sun terrace which can be used for outdoor theatre and concerts.
